got a new job

got a new job for a pretty cool company called TouchTown. My old boss at the ISP that got bought out in May got hired there, and now he needs some good help They have been in business for about 5 years now. for the past 5 years they have been an only email service for senior citizens. they have about 15,000 customers nationwide. starting this week, they are rolling out into the ISP business...and that is where i come in. Right now i am helping them get some manuals together for when we get a call center together, and taking calls for tech support (so far none) and just helping the tech support call center grow with the customer base. there is an add in the USA Today too, so not really a small time company at all. www.touchtown.us still going to classes (ok, sometimes), and still working at the univ. helpdesk, but i like the security and money of 2 jobs.

http://hq.touchtown.org/ttstaff.htm check out Dr. Dave, he graduated from havard and then went to carnegie mellon...also note his spare time activities its a pretty cool place, and they write all their applications, their email client is pretty clever, it has an increase and decrease size button for the seniors, and also an increase and decrease detail button, that will take away and add in the more advanced email tasks like BCC and attachments and such. pretty cool.
