What's Your New Years Resolution????

These are the goals I want to reach in 2002:
  • Totally stop smoking(I smoke about 7-12 sigs a week, mostly weekends when going out)
  • Graduate before summer
  • Get a job after graduation
  • Move to a bigger appartment
  • Going more often to the fittness center

So, what are your New Years Resolutions?

I guess the biggest one for me is to gain employment after me and Mrs desmocat get back from our vacation/delayed-honeymoon in Australia.

Number 2 would be for me to attain my CCNP.

I quit smoking last January, now I need to lose the weight I put on (still).

Good luck on quitting, Dutch Master. It's not easy, just believe in yourself, constantly remind yourself of the benefits, and don't kick yourself too hard for slipping.

You may want to try Zyban and/or patches. I tried both together, but they did not seem to help much. I quit both two weeks after my last cigarette, and have been tobacco free for over 11 months! I did this from about a pack a day, so it may be a little easier for you.

Thanks Scorpio69,

I have been through the difficult part 2 months ago. Now I don't buy cigarettes anymore. But I always get them offered when I go out or when I hang out with friends on friday/sathurday evenings. The problem is that after a couple of beers I get weak and it just taste so good with beer
Well I have to tell my friends, they have to stop offering me them.

Get into a physical fitness regimen to fully prepare for basic training in a year.

I'm with ^hyd^ in that I'm going to try and put on a few more pounds. I'm still young and wanting to look big and buff. I'll graduate this year so I guess another would be to get a job and nice place to stay and save up some money for a house eventually.
