Yesterday in College Football

I don't know if many of you watch college football...but yesterday was a day to remember.

the University of Texas (14) upset Kansas (13)

Baylor (who, here in the big 12, is referred to as the Doormat and in the past we always thought shouldn't even be a Div. 1 school, much less in the big 12), beat Colorado, the defending big 12 north champions who was recenently number 17. Talk about an underdog win!

And then of course there was our game we (Texas Tech) beat Texas A&M 59-28, and it would have been more if we didn't pull out our first string QB at the beginning of the 4th quarter, which puts us at number 27 on the AP polls.

I'd hardly call #14 beating #13 an upset..

agreed that they were ranked really close...but the spread was still in favor of kansas, so a lot of people were surprised...also a lot of people were in doubt after UT's game a week ago...they lost badly to a mediocre team so a lot of people expected them to fall in rankings, and when they pulled a freshman in to QB that game things looked even more different...but maybe upset is a strong word.

Just to clarify, it was Kansas State, not Kansas, as that would not have been such a suprise (although my stupid tigers lost to KU last week )

As for Baylor beating CU, that impressed me
