His name was "Nibbles"...those things are smart too! Nibbles always found a way to unlock his cage door and escape...you'll have to get used to the noisy nights if he's in your room, Nibbles would run/play all night long. Geesh, that was over 20 years ago!
I still think it would be fat to have a custom case window mod with one of those old school "habitrail" hamster deals running thru the case...you know the ones with the clear tubes that the little fellas run thru etc.

Ps...yes I concur...them little dudes KNOW somehow, how to escape from whatever cage you put em in, lol. When I was a kid I would have to go to different parts of the house and sit still and listen and eventually Id find mine cuz he was always chewin on something.
