I have to write a short story (apox 10 pages or more)

I need ideas.....
Any ideas, as there are no restrictions.

How about a story about a Pirate who's also a famous detective who has lots of big adventures...like when the Tyrannosaurus Rex attacks the cowboys on the spaceship and they fight him!

Or a tapeworm. You could write a story about a tapeworm.

Start focusing on what genre or individual topic inspires you...
science fiction, history, mystery, fantasy, fiction, non-fiction, autobiography, ancient history, mythology, war, animals, computers, etc.....

then you can start a plan.... and maybe get more input for specifics....

I like Knot's idea. Except put the tapeworm in the spaceship. He's really a good tapeworm and he sabotages the ship to help the Tyro. Ya, that's it!

Write a star trek episode called "the crandids cometh."

Write a story from the perspective of an Orio, and make it have many "political viewpoints" about how people eat orios, i.e. being dunked in milk, twisted and licked, etc.

Nicely done! I haven't had to do that for a few years.

I would write a science fiction or fantasy themed story. I wrote my own short story on something kind of like Fahrenheit 451.
