Bush expresses support for Rush...

"Rush is a great American," the president said of the beleaguered host, who has championed the conservative movement for decades. "I am confident he can overcome any obstacles he faces right now."

So make of it what you will: I wouldn't take Drudge too seriously, but for those of you who are True Believers, enjoy.

I guess Drudge was only kidding when he posted this? Is that what you mean by don't take him seriously?

What Pres. Bush said is true, and it is not an endorsement of his comments, even though you liberals will twist it to be so as you twist everything else.

Drudge is a great news source. He posts interesting commentary and quality news reports with a conservative twinge.

I disagree with what Rush said. Not because it was a racial statement, but because I don't think McNabb is that overrated, and if he is overrated I doubt it's because he's black. I do support Rush's right to say what he said though, if that's his opinion. We are quick to blame race when it is unjustifiably used to keep minorities down, but it's taboo to discuss race when it possibly unjustifiably gives minorities an advantage. In the interrest of fairness it should be OK to talk about both, even on national TV.

As far as an alleged prescription drug addiction, I agree with Bush that I am confident he can overcome it. I would hope Bush would say the same about a liberal mouthpiece in the same circumstances.

For the record I very much dislike Rush. I'm just not quick to unfailry bash him.
