Alright guys, here's a bit of insight into the story.

One of my professors here knew her well, she was a famliy friend. She was over there to bring more attention to the palestinian situation. She had done things like this several times, and was hoping to get the press involved. She invited the press to cover this story and stood in the way hoping that they would stop and people could be made a bit more aware of what was happening before all of the homes were buldozed. Instead they did not stop and just ran her over Hence why they have such pictures of the incident.

Anyway though, the point wasnt that she was trying to stop the bulldozer with ehr body. She was trying to stop the action of destroying all of the houses by bringing more media attention to the issue and hoping the world responded, and did not see that they would not stop and would just bulldoze her in the process. I don't think that is a stupid decision. One would assume that a human would not just run another human being over with a bulldozer, but maybe i give too many people too much credit....
