Arm Stretches?

Just looking for some good arm stretches. Last year, some bad weight lifting techniques hurt my arms. Stupid substitute teacher telling me to curl an extra 20 lbs.

I could go to therapy, but that's a real hassle that I would like to be a last resort only. Any suggestions?

you sure it was weight lifting that strained your arms?

Put your palms together, with fingers facing up, arms perpendicular to palms. Push palms together hard, and rotate hands til the fingers face downward (180degrees) with arms still perpendicular to palms.

Yeah, kind of foolish of the teacher. Where do your arms hurt exactly?

Check this out, even has pics: The fist one is one of my favorites, I do it between sets when I'm working on my biceps, feels great!

Another good one is to use your left hand to pull your right arm across your chest (left palm on right elbow), then vice versa of course.

Oh, one more...interlock your fingers as if you were holding hands with yourself, raise your arms above your head, face your palms toward the ceiling, and extend your arms upwards (slowly).

Hope you're alright Mike...

It usually feels fine. It hurts right at the elbow. I can't bend my arms out completely.

I'll try that out. Thanks Mike!

That's not a good sign, Mike...how long has this been going on?

Are you still working out or are you just trying to stretch out to ease the pain?

Mike, seriously bro, if it's been a while you should definitely see a doc. Depending on the injury, stretching it the wrong way can actually worsen the condition.

I guess I will go to the doctor.

I am working out again as well. Usually I go 3-4 times a week. I don't lift as heavily as I did last year though.
