Who listens to Rush ?

Like him or hate him, he is the voice of conservatives across America.

So do you listen to him?

I used to think he was a little off the wall, until I finally started actually LISTENING to him. The sound bites played by the liberal media are many times taken COMPLETELY out of context..... and that had skewed my perception of the guy.......

It was not until a couple years ago, I started listening to Rush during my lunch hour, that I actually had a clearer picture of where he was coming from. It has been an eye opening experience, and I have found myself agreeing with Rush , more than not. I have disagreed with his opinions on more than one occasion, but 98% of the time he seems right on target to me.

I've read a couple of his books and found him funny, witty, and having a very POSITIVE outlook on life in general, and a giving fellow. He has a few charities that he supports, but one that struck me was the one for the children of marines that have given thier lives for thier country.

Personally, I like the guy....... he's a bigger than life character ....... the muhammad ali of talk radio

Unlike his democratic liberal critics....... he is a very positive upbeat person. High on life.... instead of all gloom and doom that the liberals and liberal media seem bent on. If you have NEVER ACTUALLY listened to him....... I would encourage it...... if for no other reason..... to know your opponent

I disagree with much of what he says. However, on occasion I listen to him. He gets a bit redundant though.

I got into talk radio with bob grant on 770 am in NY during the LA riots. I was amazed to hear someone not spouting the choreographed mainstream press dancing lock stepped with the poor rioters just venting their anger. Although I thought the rioters had much reason to be upset, the rioting was disgusting example of people out for themselves. Waiting for that moment they could increase their personal wealth by stealing. The damage and fires were examples of immature scumm out to smash things like all kids. When the fear of reprisal was removed they tore up the city. The mainstream media never denounced the riots and talk radio was telling it like it really was.

Since then there has been a fair increase in the voice of reason in the press IMO and Rush is now just a little too off the wall for me (a bit to partisan). I find O'Reily more to my liking but even he misses the ball much of the time.

I just found msnbc last night and I could not disagree with scarborough one bit (on the topic of illegals) he was level headed and nailed many of the points I wanted to yell at his guests. I will have to see if that love affair continues.

So I wonder who all those people are that listen to Rush Limbaugh? Since he's got the number one rated radio talk show in the business (followed closely by Sean Hannity).

all's I can tells ya is that I have never been polled.

With all the polls which flurry through the country one would assume that I would at least have been tapped once.

Oh well like I said I do listen to him on occasion but I surf the talk radio shows for topics which interest me. His show usually does not captivate me because he is addressing topics which I feel have been played to death. When he hits new material I listen for a while.
