Interesting twist to old question.

Some of my friend and I were sitting aroung BSing and we came up with this question:

You're sitting in a music library. Suddenly, you hear the sirens go off.

Dang...nuclear holocaust.

You have a chance to grab 5 CD's before running into the shelter...which ones do you grab?

What made this interesting to us is to remember that you are getting music that will shape future generations, so just getting your favorites may not be the best way to go.

Here are some of the ones we came up with:

1. Beatles - One

2. Michael Jackson - Thriller

3. Amadeus Soundtrack

4. The Clash - London Calling

The fifth one we couldn't agree on then got into a fist fight.

So, what do y'all think?

My choices would be:

2. Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon
3. Eagles - Hotel California
4. Van Halen - I
5. Led Zepplin - IV

1.) Nirvana - Nevermind

2.) Smashing Pumpkins - Siamese Dream

3.) Megadeth - Countdown to Extinction

4.) Dvorak's Ninth Symphony (The New World)

5.) A Perfect Circle - Mer De Noms

A little bit on the new side, but dear to myself nonetheless.

Hmm... Let's see:

1. Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon

2. Sting - Brand New Day

3. Van Halen - Van Halen

4. Aaron Copland: Applachian Spring, Rodeo, Billy the Kid, Fanfare for the Common Man By Leonard Bernstein and the New York Philharmonic Orchestra

5. Joe Satriani - Surfing with the Alien

These are just some of my favorites.
The future generations can make up their own minds as to what they like to listen to. Just as we have.

AAhhhh...remember, you have to name a specific CD. Makes it a little more difficult.

I like the Floyd suggestions. Means Dominoes & Dorritos will be a well sought after commodity.
