2 year old left alone for 3 weeks
This just sickens me . I hope she never gets to see her kid again
I mean, how can you forget that your kids is at home by herself???? What happened when they incarcerated her? Obviously they nabbed her while the kid was in the apt... why was she alone in the first friggin' place?!

Something not right there. Why would she leave the kid to die and not tell anyone??
Some ppl's behaviour just don't add up.

You know you really can't say anything about this because it's to unfreaking believable. That poor little girl.I can't even imagine how terrified she had to have been. She has to be pretty smart though to figure out how to find the food.I pray that someone will look after her that has some common since.

Well Im not sure what to say. I feel sorry for the girl yes. However I think there are too many facts missing to pre-judge the situation. It did not say anything about the childs mother begging the authorities to go get her daughter. Obvisouly something is missing here. Where was the mother when she was arrested and sent to jail? Was the child with her at the time? or was she arrested at home and authorities did not listen to her that her child is in her room sleeping or something.
Sorry, as unbelievable as this story is, I am inclined not to belive it as there are far too many facts left unreported in this story.
Also why is the child department reviewing the case to find out where the child should be placed.
I would think just from reading that it would automatically go into the fathers care since he is the one trying to find out where the mother and child was.
sorry not enough info in that story to make a judgement.
Edit: also its stated that the manager let the father into the apartment. I would have thought the child would eventually wander out the door. Even a two year old can figure out how to open a door.
Like its said, its unbelievable that the child been left alone for so long.

very justly put, I agree with your reasons, Neo.
The media does this all the time; taking 'news' and then leaving some important facts out to spice up the story a bit.
Lack of facts on the story is no exception. If they 'care' enough to inform the public of local/nationwide things, could they be so kind as to get the whole story? ....nah....
