Saving those plastic thingies

What do you do with the plastic thingies you pop out of the 5.25"
and the 3.5" bays???? Does anyone save them? Are they good for anything else?? They seem to add up quicklyand take up a lot of room.

I save them just in case I take out a rom or floppy drive sometime. I don't like looking at a hole in the front of my pc.

I usually tape them to the bottom of the inside of the case or inside an empty drive cage just to keep everything together if they are needed later...

I put mine in the same can I put psu cable, network cables, spare keyboards, mice, and the like. I don't have many laying around though so it's not like they're taking up tons of space.

When I add drives to customers' computers I do what TKOP do as not all covers are the same. One that fits one computer does not fit another.

I've found that. A revised case from the same manufacturer may not even be exactly the same.

I even save the metal slot-covers (what are they called?), although they're the same for every machine.
