baltimore and Poe's Deathday

anyone ever go down there for that? next tuesday, oct. 7th is the anniversary of Poe's death and i have always wanted to go down to see the unknown person pay their respects.

well, i think i am going to pass on this idea until 2006 when oct 7th falls on a weekend. it will take 4.5 hours to get there, and the group of friends i have that are interested, and me have classes until atleast 5

Why Balimore? E.A. Poe lived off the Grand Concourse in the Bronx, NY.

that is where he died. he is buried there. he was going back home, and he just got sick, no one really knows what he died of. every year a mysterious person i a cloak goes to his grave and places a flask of whiskey or something on the grave and pays respects then leaves. kind of eerie.
