Samsung Televisions?

Been in the market for a new TV for quite a while now, but have been researching and still haven't made a decision yet.

I would like flat screen, hdtv.
atleast 27", but may go for 32"
I seem to be narrowing it down to Toshiba, Song or Samsung. I've read plenty about Sony of course, but then also see the price tag compared to others.
I haven't read as much about Samsung tv's, but their picture looks pretty good compared to Sony and looked a little better than the Toshiba if I remember right.
Any opinions on Samsung tv's or any additional comments?

I bought a samsung 13" color tv back in the early 80s. After 15 years I got tired of looking at it so I sold it. If samsung have the quality now as 20 yrs ago I would buy it.

Bought me a 32" HDTV Flatscreen Samsung about 6 months ago.

I have no problem with the picture, actually its pretty good. But, unless you have an HDTV receiver, the picture will look the same as a regular flatscreen.

The Sony and Samsung both have good pictures, but, price is a factor. The weight of the TV was also another factor for me. I'd rather lift a 200lb tv than a 240lb.
