disappearing posts

anyone notice posts disappearing? i have posted a few times, and they go through seemingly fine. but i am going through the threads with 0 replies and it pops back up in that list, and the thread no longer has my reply. and i do a search for my recent posts, and the first one i thought had gone through fine, isnt listed?!?! please tell me i am not the only one. i have noticed a few people saying that their posts are being erased. if so we have a bigger problem then just the time being wrong

I've had edits disappear. I recently had to post a reply because the edit wouldn't stick.

You're not alone. I believe it's this "caching" system.

yeah. really, i think this caching is doing more harm then good.

first off, was the caching really a good resolution to stop the SQL connection errors? i dont think so, it still happens.

too much stuff is messed up with the cache. honestly, i think the only possible solution is to upgrade VBulletin.

If they do that, then the best way is to take TechIMO of the 'net for a few days or a week most likely. How many of you can live without TIMO for a week?
