Closing on a new house troubles.

Man I peed-off right now.I was suppose to close on my new home Monday and now I'm told it won't be till Tuesday because some paper work didn't get turn in quick enough.Is this common?I made arrangments at work ,to move ,to turn off my utilities here.Why the hell can't people do thier jobs right?Man I'm pissed.

closing on a house can be tough.
be thankful you can close 'closer' to the end of the month, it'll save ya some cash.....

...if it's delayed past the first, check with everyone and see how much more it'll cost ya.....

Well............ if it wasn't YOUR fault on the paperwork end........ tell whoever's fault it is that they will be paying for a hotel and storage for your stuff if you need that, and something for YOUR inconvience. ............... or you will see them in court.

Judges probably won't look favorably on someone's ineptness causing anothers misery........ just a thought.

oh....... and yes it's common. Finding good realtors, loan officers, and having everthing fall in place........and at the last minute somone screwing up the mix..... yeah it's more common than you think.
