Daylight Savings Time (BST)
In the US, DST ends on Sunday morning, Sept. 26, but isn't it earlier in the UK?
I have some conference calls set up with a lab in Scotland and some how I always manage to mess this up.

That repeatedly confuses me. Once I came back from Japan on the day we changed the clocks and gained the extra hour. Plus, I went over the International date line. I actually arrived before I left. So, I picked myself up at the airport.
lol

Ok, yes, October (just me being stupid).
But my question was, what about the UK? Don't they change on a different day?

I could have sworn somebody told me that...hmmmm. | Indiana is "local option" but very few locals have optioned, so it's *mostly* Standard Time. Also, a tiny bit of southwest Indiana is on Central time, while the rest of the State is on Eastern time. I'm about 40 miles from Indiana and, I never know what the h*77 time it is there

| When we change our clocks
Daylight Saving Time begins for most of the United States at 2 a.m. on the first Sunday of April and then time reverts to standard time at 2 a.m. on the last Sunday of October. In the U.S., each time zone switches at a different time.
In the European Union, Summer Time begins and ends at 1 am Universal Time (Greenwich Mean Time). It starts the last Sunday in March, and ends the last Sunday in October. In the EU, all time zones change at the same moment. (So it would seem that the UK changes at roughly the same time the US does calendar wise except for when DST or Summer Time starts)
Spring forward, Fall back
During DST, clocks are turned forward an hour, effectively moving an hour of daylight from the morning to the evening. Some U.S. areas
Daylight Saving Time, for the U.S. and its territories, is NOT observed in Hawaii, American Samoa, Guam, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, most of the Eastern Time Zone portion of the State of Indiana, and the state of Arizona (not the Navajo Indian Reservation, which does observe). Navajo Nation participates in the Daylight Saving Time policy, due to its large size and location in three states.

Most of Indiana is exempt from DST. The sun stays up late enough there as it is. Anyone from the Terre Haute area?
