I used to work for a telemarketing company...and it coud have been a couple things...sometimes if they are using computers to dial the computers have been known to randomly disconnect...also i have more than once rested my finger on the disconnect key so if they were not intrested i could jus get on with my calling and accidentally disconnected...and it could have been that she was trying to cheat you and was being listened to by her supervisor without her knowledge and he/she disconnected the call.
So long as you gave her no cc ot acct #'s you should be fine.
A few tips though..in all the time i worked for the one...we only had one 'free deal' that was actually free.
Telemarketers are not nice people no matter how nice they sound. In fact in myexperience the nicer they sound the more shady they are.
Dont let them fast talk you...make them slow down and explain two times or more if you need it. If they really want to make the sale they wil lbe more than happy to do so.
And finally If you find that you dont want calls from them...write down their name...the name of the company and the name of the supervisor as well as the name of the person/s contracting them. Then tell them that you want your name removed from their calling list. If they continue to call your home. Report the priveiously gathered information to the Better Business Bureau, The FCC and The peron/s contracting them. They will be subject to close down as well as fines up to 10,000.
