That is a good'un.. If there had been any way to have snuck up behind her and poked her rump and went "zzzzzzzzttttt"..in two long steps she woulda been in the woods on the other side of the road!!
I used to deer hunt years ago, and usually around noon I would take a nap on some warm hill side. I have been awakened by sniffing to find a deer sniffing at my feet or legs. If it didn't startle me and I made some move..but just lay still and watched..usually they would walk around and sniff you all over. I have even had does and their fawns come up and smell me all over, then finally deciding I wasn't something that would harm them...they ambled on off into the woods grazing as they went..simply awsome.
