Hurricane update

Well i know you all all excited for my return (feels the overwhelming response)

Brief overview

day the hurricane hit

power went off about 11:30 am

Telephone to follow later that day

Watch the wind blow and rain all day. Walked around the neighborhood while the hurricane was going. Slepted and studied

to be honest i have no idea how long i was out of power. No school or work tommorow.

hahah you will laugh on how i got the injury. i was cleaning up the backyard, and we have this thingy that rolls up the garden hose with wheels. well it fell on my foot

Our power went off about 8 pm on Thursday, and it still hadn't been restored when I left for work this morning at 7:20. According to PEPCo, it could take until the end of the week.

I live in the capital of the US. Might as well be Baghdad...

I was planning to take my bride to NorthCarolina next week for anniversary. Until President Bush declared it a Federal disaster area. (North Carolina).
I bet I could get a better price now, tho!!

GREAT pictures, especially the one of the tree through the front dormer of the house. WOW!!

I took the day off Friday (for reasons other than the storm), but our Governor decided to declare a state of emergency, so the kids had the day off from school as well. So we all enjoyed the lovely sunny weather. So much for our "state of emergency"!

Yah osprey 4 i have had the last 5 days off. i might even have tommorow off from school and work!

im kind of getting bored and want to go back!

NJ was in a state of emergency so I got off of school Friday! As it turns out, it was the day after the hurricane, which everyone knows is always a BEAUTIFUL day, which it was! I mowed my neighbor's lawn (he pays me).
