R/C Jet...very cool

I'd love to have one. I wonder how they got an F-22 Raptor to fly considering it's aerodynamically unstable and fly-by-wire in real life. Must be many servos.

That is awesome. Germans are brilliant. I dont think they need many more servos than a normal R/C plane, just maybe 2 for flaps, 2 for retractable landing gear, and an extra one for that second rudder... come to think of it, there must be 10 servos in it. Must be pretty expensive. Do you know if it has 2 jet engines in it?

Probably flys so well from the use of an actual jet engine rather then a ducted fan---lots more thrust, just dont run out of fuel while airborne...

Wow!!! That was cool! I wanted tos ee them land it though. It seemed that it had a very fast spoolup with the engines, and I would bet it is hard to control at speeds other than full-throttle.

That's pretty cool! I would imagine it'd be extremely hard to land but I'm sure the guy flying it has had thousands of hours on 'normal' r/c planes....still....
