wheeling or mudding

where is the best place to go around you to mud or wheel?

I have to say the best place around me is old logging trails. They have been used alot by mudders and are pretty deeply rutted and usually full of water.

the best place to do some dunning around here is Silver Lake.

I heard a lot of people go up to silver lake.. but very crowded at times.

There's some folks back home that take their 4 wheelers up there.

Yes, Silver lake is very busy, although it has gotten a bit better sinse they started the voucher system so I hear. Haven't been there in a few years so I don't know for sure.

Most people I know stay away from Silver Lake simply for the fact that it's so busy. There's supposed to be good wheeling out on Drummand Island also.

We usually just go out up by the mines in the area, or up to Marquette on the mountain logging roads.

Any trail that's a mile long and takes six hours to traverse can't be all bad, right?

I used to have a Toyota pickup, but the bank took it back.

Now I've got a Jeep Cherokee I'm working on, and a '76 Toyota FJ-40 Landcruiser I'm going to build next spring.

We don't do big mud pits too much. We prefer rocks and difficult trails.

Not much water up here so there isn't much "mudding". Theres bush bashing tho. Which doesn't really need a 4wd or a road. Just get any car and ram it through some tress.
