Any CDs worth buying?

I'm a tight wad. I'm not about to buy a $15 CD for one or two songs. The last CD I bought was Black Label Society - The Blessed Hellride. It was OK. The last one before that was Disturbed - Believe. Fricking awesome! I just listened to the new A Perfect Circle CD and it's definitely worthy of my cash. There's never a doubt with Maynard on vocals. Are there any other recent must-haves I'm missing out on?

Fuel is the one Wart and I were teething on. But that won't be out until Tuesday.

STP's greatest hits comes out in November. Other than that, I can't think of anything in the rock/hard rock genre. Lots of pop-punk stuff has come out lately. 311s new CD is really good if you like that sort of stuff.

Yeah, Fuel....definately getting that one. I finally was able to find the single online last week and bought the single cd with 5 vids on there. Love 'em...second only to Linkin Park.

Some stuff I've been listening to:
Fuel - Falls On Me
The Used - The Taste of Ink
Staind - So Far Away
Yellowcard - Way Away
Brand New - The Quiet Things That No One Ever Knows7

Download those see if you like it...err if download stuff.

Send a message via AIM to Mike
Fuel would be an album that I would pick up if I didn't hate the RIAA so much.

I will do some research on some of the online vendors and get the album that way.

The Queens of the Stone Age and The White Stripes CDs are pretty good too. I'll have to check out Fuel.

Nooooooo, not the White Stripes! Arrrrrrrgh!

I have a serious disdain for that band. Probably because they're not very good and they're famous and I'm not famous but I'm good. Or something.

Hah, the new APC disc has a splash in the liner notes from EMI. Something to the affect of "Please do not distribute this song on the CD, or make copies to give to your friends, or lend it to them to copy. That's illegal and we don't like it."

Great CD though.

I like the retro sound of The White Stripes - Elephant. Like 60's garage bands. And they're Michiganders.
