It's a Japanese thing. My great grandmother is pushing 95 and can still do most things that the average 60 year old can.

She wakes up early, cooks breakfast, cleans, etc.

Although, imagine what she has seen - born in, what, 1887. She saw the advent of electricity, autos, planes, both world wars...

Me wonders what kind of dreams you can have, sleeping for two days.

What I wouldn't give to be able to sleep for TWO days straight...

It would just be amazing to sit back and recollect on 116 years of history... All that has happened in that time. The technology, the Events, the people... She's outlived some of her children!

Almost certainly a severe calorie and protein (mainly tryptophan) deficit in early childhood. It's a well-known effect in lifespan extension. Combine that with good medical care at the other end of life, and Bingo!
