Oh My GOD!!!

I was trying to clean something with oven cleaner and all the sudden the cap popped off and the crap sprayed into my left eye!!!

It burnt like crazy, I flushed it as quickly as I could with a jug of water we have as a door holder.

It still burns a little too.

Anyone know any other steps to take???

yes a good step would be to get your arse to the doctor prompt!!!!

That crap is nasty. I spent all day cleaning my oven with Oven Off adn I got some on my legs and now I have burn marks. If its still stinging that means not all of it is washed out.

Get in your rig or get someone to drive you to the doctor silly.

Oven Cleaner is not great stuff to get on you. Get to a doctor before you lose an eye! (If you're still reading this that is).

The doctors have ointments that will help with this situation. Do not waste another minute..get to an emergency treatment center ASAP..you could be blind in that eye if you do not seek treatment.

Many ppl do survive such as this without emergency care, but those that do..are few and far inbetween..your eyes are the only ones you will ever have (probably)..take care of what you have.

Flushing with LOTS and LOTS of water immediately is the best thing to do for something ilke that. At least 10 minutes non-stop.

Then go and get a doc to check out to see no damage has been done. They have stains that can see damage to the eye.
