I like rap for the good 'ol American values!

I'd like all of my daughters to fall in love with a rap star! They really know how to treat a girl! Here all this time I though a 'Ho was a garden implement!

Excuse me while I put on my flame resistant suit...

I FIRKCEN LUV RAPP!!!11

Just kidding. I like MD1032's response.
I don't know about others, some say this is "just my opinion", and that it's ignorant for me to say so, but I say it's the truth:
I prefer music that is built on a solid foundation of talent, hard work, and actual skill. Not rap. Although I don't like country, but at least it involves an amount of skill.
Look at the piles of talent in the rap industry. Let's count the many talents of rappers:

1.) Rhyming- I don't know anyone who can rhyme the same two words together as well as "artists" like 50 cent or Eminem.
2.) Dressing themselves- Oh wait... nevermind.
3.) Raking up tons of money from ignorant, stunned and inevitably stupid fans who have delusions as to what music is.
4.) Spelling- Wait again, sorry, no.

Well, that's about all I can think of, can anybody who actually likes rap think of any? (talents a rapper might have)

Gangsta, Underground rap

I can't think of anything that makes other words cooler than by adding "underground" in front. This must attract idiots to buy rap CDs because the genre name implies illegal secrecy and such. 'Man, look at that awesome CD! "Underground rap". Wow, it's gotta be good! I can't get over my dumb and unexplained affinity to the world of crime, hate and racist sexism!"

Idiots. Techno's no better. Few talents are as coveted and wanted as... COMPUTER SYNTHESIZER OPERATOR! This may involve slightly more talent than rap, but still lacks any trace of human involvement, which makes you wonder, did a person make this, or did the Terminator break into a studio and fart into the microphone? When I listen to good music, I like to hear signs of human involvement, like fingers on guitar strings, slight mistakes that may have been made but overlooked. It reminds me that hard work went into something.
