Since the insane RIAA seems to think the silent majority supports their actions, how about flooding the P2P networks with your own words?

You know, make up a nice document, or even a sound recording, telling the RIAA, and others, what you think of the RIAA's actions. And share them there files.

I am sure they'd find a way to sue over that as well.
Sadly P2P programs like Kazaa are already going down the crapper, so you might as well give it a shot.

And for those of you joining the boycott, you can check to see if an album is part of the RIAA affilliation by using either RIAA Radar applet on this page:

http://www.magnetbox.com/riaa/bookmark.asp

On that page, you'll see the box with two RIAA Bookmarklet's. Simply right click and "Add to Favorites".

Then all you have to do is look up the album on Amazon.Com. From the Albums review page, click your favorites/bookmark for the RIAA Radar applet, and it will automatically (though often quite slowly) let you know if the label that owns that album is a member of the RIAA.

This will come in quite handy, as you may be able to find some albums that you can buy that won't fund the RIAA's tactics.

Though I haven't found ANY of my artists' album that aren't a part of them

They are a disgrace to the American way of wife. An organism that resides under the slime of corporate defication. Here's a list of their members. I urge a COMPLETE BOYCOTT of all their products and services. Hit them where it hurts. My wife and I went to the mall today and she showed interest in buying some DVD movies. We went to the book store instead. We will not support these ruthless bastards ( sorry for the language) but they are nothing short of that .

This statement is sickening.

A high-five to all those participating in the boycott.

lol... Didn't it used to be RIAA.org? I always found that quite amusing, finding that .org is intended for non-profit organizations.

You may also want to write your government officials concerning this rape of due process & civil liberties:

http://www.congress.org/congressorg/home/

And also sign the petition:

http://www.eff.org/share/petition/

It's good to see we the people standing up against this.

EDIT

excellent point, renesis

I think I may make a T-Shirt with that member list. Would be awesome to have a T-shirt that Says 'Boycott RIAA' with the letters made up of the member list (you know, like the DeCSS T-Shirts or the AMC animated logo.

Anyone know how to do this?

You could get some iron-on t-shirt prints for your printer.

Or order some from a customized t-shirt shop, which is often cheaper if you're going to do a lot of em.
