Growing HSF collection

I’m starting to amass quite a collection of heatsinks and fans. Although most of the sinks aren’t robust enough to use on modern equipment I just can’t bring myself to toss’em.

Mine is starting to look the same too. I also have the heat sinks from a power supply that wasn't working.

Yeah, I'd say the 80mm fan is overkill. Hey, isn't that a Panaflo?

very nice OuT, can never be too cool in sunny. Ca right. that shows me i can rig something up..i went to 2 places in the summer looking to cool it down, 1 guy had a blue orb, but said i had to pry off my old sink...i bought a frt case fan and left..i see zippy strips on one side is that 2 screws on the other?

Nope. Pretty much just one screw holds it on. The zip tie is to keep it from pivoting on that screw and coming loose. Look at the attached pic. I just bent four of the heatsink fins close together so the screw would really bite into them. It works much better than it looks like it would.
