Pat Bucannon's take on Illegal Alien Drivers Licenses

http://www.wnd.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=34516

Although he didn't say it, it is time for a third party!

Much as I enjoyed the article, shouldn't this be in the community?

What part of "illegal" doesn't Davis understand? Excellent article. For us Californians, our drivers licenses are quickly becoming as worthless as the paper they're printed on...

Awesome article!!!

I agree 100% and bush should get his head out of his arse and send and do as I said.

1) No jobs for Illegals (Progressive fining of employers)
2) No benefits for Illegals (no reason to make it look more attractive to come in illegal)
3) (I differ a bit from buchanan on this one) amnesty for those here 5 years (they are vested it would be mean to send em back now)
4) Medical care is given along with bus fare out of the country after critical phase has ended. ( I am all heart)
5) No education for children of illegals who come in after amnesty 2004 (no need to sweeten the attraction for illegals)
6) adjust quotas if need be to meet the needs of economy.

If there are no jobs to be had, and no benefits, and no transportation. There is no attraction for the US. Illegal crossings will slow to a trickle at best. As the illegals find no employment they will return home or have to come to the government to assist them across the border. The stories they will tell will stem the tide.

This is a simple theory but I cant find a flaw in it. Tell me where I am wrong?

Pat Buchanon is dead-on accurate in his excellent and concise article - at least, I agree with him and it's just how I see the way things are here.

I'm not as well-informed on politics as some of my fellow TechIMOlians, but it seems to me that now our CDLs - and the very idea of U.S. citizenship itself - are in the crosshairs. Companies everywhere are outsourcing and even moving their operations out of this country. Our deficits are huge. Our import / export ratio is whacked. China is the new global consumer threat and a very dangerous one to our further eroding economy. We have the Ca State Lottery system for education and we are now the worst state in terms of education and funding is a constant problem. Hospitals with emergency rooms are closing because they can't afford to operate... etc., etc., ad nauseum.

Davis [and those like him] are not interested in the welfare of this State [Country] or its people, but only in his / their personal power, greed and control. His answer is to further gouge us with triple-registration auto rates to cover for HIS screwups. I say let's triple-reduce HIS salary and pension.

I wish someone with Pat Buchanon's POV will take the CA governor's office, and get tough and get real

Great find, ChuckieChan - thanks for sharing!

NO AMNESTY! Get legal or get out!

*Epi - sounds in most part good to me.

I think the Democrats in California are taking a calculated risk that if enough aliens are here, the next amnesty program will insure a solid lock on power in the US southwest, even if they lose the next election.
