Big Wheel Demolition Derby

I saw a cereal commercial where they were having demolition derby using big wheels.
Is this a real sport?

As I remember, Big Wheels were pretty tough. And just banging them into each other won't do much damage to 'em. I don't see how this "sport" could be viable.

Loved my big wheel as a kid....my parents still have the VHS tape of me as a kid getting my 1st big wheel for Christmas at the age of 3-4 in the late 80s (couldn't reach the pedals)...lol. That was recorded on brand new, expensive VHS camcorder....that thing was huge...used it up into the mid-90s.

I had to tape 2x4 on the pedals of my sons Big Wheel so he could ride it

That's what I thought Skuz,It's a Jimmy Dean Sausage commercial,it's a retarded commercial,but I thought it was just dumb enough it could be true.

The lawn tractor racing is cool

Don't know if it's real or not. Real funny though. I saw the one today about the guys who play 'squirrel tag". Same company, another funny commercial.
