The part about the "tests", arms, legs, and EYES! This is like one of the biggest leaps in bio-research in ages. At least from my limited perspective.

How long now until the sci-fi concept of "pluging into your computer" comes out? The military will want a big piece of this (airplanes and such).

And maybe along the way they might just be able to patch up such little things as severed spines and other nerve damage. Maybe start making some real advances into growing replacement body parts. Liver failing? Just give the hospitol two months and you will have a new one, one of yours... And so on.
