LOTR book vs movie?
Hi all,
I have a question about the LOTR Two Towers movie. I heard that the movie is missing something big from the book or that something is different between the two. I was wondering what it was, because I cannot remember the book that vividly. Can anyone give me a clue as to what is amiss?
Thanks,

The ents did attack Saurman's (the wizard) tower. They threw rocks and such at it trying to knock it over, but it had no effect. Gandolf had to come and take his staff.

Without giving it away - the ending in the book is further along than in the movie............ In the movie Sam and Frodo have yet to meet up with the giant.........well ,..........y-know |

Peter Jackson also ditched the insufferable Tom Bombadil and his wife Goldberry, thank goodness.

In interviews, Jackson said that the Two Towers movie was the one of the three that differed the most from the original book.
