Problem?
Okay I don't want this to be yet another 'problem with Timo?' thread but I noticed that there might be a problem with the session management in the forum.
I appear to be logged in, however: - 1. It says Welcome back. (without name)
- 2. Once I view a thread and go back to the forum index of lets say Community, the thread icon does not change colour to tell me I have viewed the thread already.
- 3. I try to log out and nothing happens, even though it says cookies cleared.
- 4. After voting it does not show me the results, only the voting options and vote button.
Well, I'm off to the airport now, please fix these problems by the time I get back okay? Thanks...
Just kidding |

RobRich just suggested checking for new versions of every page in your browser settings,. Try that, it may help.
Cheers

I have a weird problem too.
When I try to vote in a poll it says there is a problem and there is a link to retry. I'll click the link and it will tell me thanks for voting. It takes me back to the thread but doesn't show the poll results. Thinking that it didn't work, I try to revote. I get the same error with the same link. I'll click the link and it tells me I've already voted. It shows me the results of the poll if I click the thing to show me the results.
Not a serious problem but it's weird.

yeah, I got that too. Thought it was just me, though.
Bigfoot popped that egotistical balloon, though!
Have you tried the page cache refresh trick yet?
Cheers

Yeap, forcing page update checks helped for my problems anyway (admin related).
As to the quirks, I consider this weekend the "alpha" test of the cache system. I am sure Scott has some more tweaking to work on this week.
I don't believe any major site has ever tried to integrate Cache_Lite into a vBulletin system, so we are on the bleeding edge of development here. There could be a few bumps along the way, but nothing a little coding shouldn't be able to fix. | |

Hey I think the "few bumps along the way" are kinda fun. You never quite know what's going to happen next. |

On that note, I have to see everyone's avatar now even though I have the box checked to disable them.
