Gray Davis - True Democrat Colors - Baah!

Davis stated the following referring to Arnold:

"If you can't pronounce the name of the state correctly you shouldn't be allowed to run for Governor."

(might be para-phrased a little but the essence of the comment is correct)

If a Republican had said that regarding a Latino candidate all hell would break loose.

Bill

Your closed devotion to partisanship is troubling

I find such devotions to be strikenly similar to racism

no, really, I do think they're on the same intellectual level

do you also feel yourself to be of a superior race? because you obviously feel yourself superior because of your political party affiliation.

Let the Donkey vs. Elephant flaming begin

Yes, Davis did that. But he had been against it for long until now.

Davis is a very political animal.

Or desperate.

Yes he did.

However if it were a political move he would have signed the measure into law in East LA at a DMV office (90+ % Latino population) and he would have only invited the Hispanic media to the event.

Oh, wait, that's exactly what he did!!

Go figure?

That was 2 million licenses by the way!

He is selling out California to save his sorry hide. When these illegals have licenses, they will register to vote. There is nothing to stop them except the threat of purjury. Since we don't enforce illigration laws, why would an illegal be worried about purjury laws? A cop can't even ask them if they are illegal during a traffic stop. What standing does a clerk have?

BTW: this also includes the boatloads of Chinese landing every day or two.

Because everyone is complaining about being in debt. In California to get a license or a license renewal you have to pay money for it. This kind of helps.

Why do you think we have a tax for just about everything in California?
