What's the saying. If you do the crime, be ready to do the time! Chicago Cubs first baseman Randall Simon paid $432 to close a case in which he used his bat to hit a woman dressed as a sausage during a race at a Milwaukee Brewers game.

Of course, with the instant fame that accompanied being the victim of this "crime", the woman should have paid him.

I guess YOU THINK all victims should feel honored that they have been struck with a bat. Do you think he meant to STRIKE HER >jokingly< with the bat? O, I Know, you think he hit her with a foam(or cork?) filled bat!! Thats it!

For your information, some people watch baseball because it is A NON VIOLENT game. For a PROFESSIONAL to delibertely BLIND SIDE someone much less a girl who couldnt defend herself(nor even SEE THE BLOW COMING) and people like you saying its ok, the victim should be honored she was hit with a bat swung by a pro, makes me feel ill!
