Music Biz to Give File Sharers Amnesty?

This is the first syllable of the word "Uncle"! It looks like the RIAA is looking to fill and cover. Probably getting serious heat from labels.

Well no kidding the record companies aren't happy. They don't want to see their customers being sued. Why do you think Universal cut prices, and several others are thinking about it?

This amnesty thing may work, but the RIAA is just waiting for a user to slip up and then they can sue the user for every penny that they are worth.

Exactly. Like I said in the other thread about the dropping CD prices. They're profit margin is only about 600% to 700% instead of like 1000%.

I'm not impressed.
