Not to bash women or any thing. I was in the military, I have seen the women selected. Although some may be excelent warriors, Most were definitely under weight, under strength warriors when compared with their equivelent male counterpart.
Now even if you teach this underweight warrior to fight like bruce lee she still can not carry her 200 lb fellow soldier out when he has his leg blown to pieces.
I do not even say that all women in the military are this way. Some women are extraordiary and would make it high in the percentiles when compared with male counterparts.
My beef is that the criteria for women is reduced. At least when I was in it was. Push ups were on the belly with bent backs. Loads were lighter. And virtually every PT criteria was lower.
Males equal to the mid range female requirement were drummed out.
If criteria is kept high then I have alot less beef with the situation. Although in combat you still have the chivalry thing, enemy rape thing, pregnancy thing (although I think punishment should be levied there for damaging government property) 9 months in lebenworth at least.
