Music Help
I just found a song off the Moulin Rouge Sountrack Vol 2 called "Bolero". info
I love this song!
The thing is, I have never heard anything like it before, and I want more. Is there a genre of music that is like this?
Every heard of other songs that are like it?
It's like fast, upbeat syphony music. I don't know to explain it.
Find it, lesten to it, and tell me what you think.
Thanks

Genre= Classical
Bolero was written by Ravel.
You might also like Bach, Mozart, and Johann Strauss.
Bach is my favorite.

Yanni makes upbeat, instrumental music...good stuff...fav is Standing in Motion (listen to it after about the 1:45 mark - first part is slow) and Santorini.

He has long hair, yes....you wanted upbeat classical and this is what I think of upbeat and modern classical. Sounds awesome on a good stereo - clarity is priceless.
BTW, for Standing in Motion, at about 1:45-2:00 mark, it starts to get more upbeat but at the 3:50 mark it is really great.

may i suggest try listening to music from movies. the score that is, not the soundtrack.
You may want to try Unfaithful composed by Jan. A.P. Kaczmarek
or Meet Joe Black compesed by (the great, imo) Thomas Newman
anything that thomas newman composes is great.
THe movie sucked but the music from Star Wars II Attack of the Clones was good. John Williams, composer.
if you would like to try a slice of pie (wink wink, if you know what i mean (thats not some gay thing, if that is what ur thinking)) send me a pm. |

most pop movies have soundtrack...but serious movies usually have a score....well, some have both, but if it is a drama, it most usually has a score. what would you be looking for?
If you go to an online retailer, they usually say SCORE as opposed to SOUNDTRACK.
