woohoooo cops at my front door
so i am getting outta my car right , it is 2 am i am getting home from work and i am walking across my yard, and i hear sirens . not a big thing i live near a main drag and the freeway entrance is right by my nieghborhood . but the i hear tires .... so i turn around and there is a car barrel'n down my street with its headlights off and cop cars behind it . well my house is right on a bend in the street and there are no street lights so it is rather dark . this car is going 60+ mph and the bend comes up on him before the kid knew it . he loses it , like an idiot i am standing there watching lol . he fishtails past my house barrels up the next door neighbors driveway , thru his chainlink fence , and thru the next house wood fence , just missing the guys camper , hit s a tree and stops .. all i heard after that was " get on the f'n ground " let me see you f'n hands " it was wild . just like in the tv show cops . bout 8 cop cars and a copter with a light . and ya know what .. even after all that noise and sirens my 2 neighbors never came outta there houses . the cops had to beat on there doors to wake them up ....

I have NEVER understood the "logic" of trying to outrun a police car...I mean, it can be done (esp. on a motorcycle) BUT...the cops can radio ahead with your position, get more of the guys involved, they even have helicopters!!
Plus, if you pull over right away, you've got a reasonable guy to deal with...that "chase" jazz just makes 'em madder than hornets! |

yep thats what I was always taught.
You might be able to outrun the cops, but you won't outrun the radio

Wow. That was wild. I saw my first live police chase in my neighborhood. They (one car) were chasing a dirt bike. The biker will go up between the houses and down the other, cut through the school yard, go up and down my street. All that over and over and people started coming out of their houses to watch all that commotions. The cop was really burning up trying to catch that bike. I was standing in my front yard watching the whole thing and after he finally caught the kid he came over to us and apologized for the reckless driving. That was one mad cop.
