The company behind Digital Angel has announced a new ID chip that can be used in people, or at least once the FDA gives its approval.

Is this the 'Mark of The Beast'? I have a similar chip in my purebred Border Collie, but it is only activated by a veterinarian. If he gets stolen and the dognapper takes him to a vet, the vet will get the code and compare it to a database supplied by the company. Apply this to people. Smart cards are already similar in scope but not in execution. They could be if current technology was applied.

The warning from Revelations is about a mark that gives you permission to carry on your daily business. No mark, no business. In a cashless society this would be entirely possible, even probable. Strange how most sci-fi futures have 'credits' or a similar way of transerring money.

Hmm, I think I would have to brush up on some of my survival skills... I'm kinda into technology but not that into it,..
I can grind grain to make bread, fish, trap, bust a fire with a bow, use an ax.. better brush up on chewing hides to tan them like my relatives did....

my buddy who's the biggest conspiracy buff will say that marks the end of the world. some of his ramblings include
