Computers are boring now. Life is gay.
I used to love computers live and breath computers. But recently I have been having problems and computers are now boring. I just got some parts in for a new box and it seemed a burden. I usued to just charg right in and do it in no time. Now its boring and lame. The whole tech world has seemed to be boring. There are no games that are really fun anymore. There is nothing to do in life it seems. Blah I gess I will sit hear and do nothing.

Well, everyone and every thing has its cycles. I have been thru periods where you can't keep me away from one and then one day, out of nowhere its back. Just don't let it get you down, its your mind telling you that you need a break.

Burnout in the MPV...err your mom's MPV in the winter and the Jeep in the summer? Is that how it works?
I go through hobby cycles...I have many hobbies...knives, guns, stereo, cars, (soon to be) mountain biking, computers, audio editing (new hobby) and dabbling in video editing.
Try something new.

Whenever I have periods thinking computers are boring (which is very rare, BTW ), I just start reading TechIMO threads at random. That tends to get me thinking about how to fix some of the questions that are asked, which gets me to googling for answers. Which then gets me back to wanting to fix stuff some more.
Helping others always seems to drag me out of any lethargy I may have of myself. Maybe that's what you need, U_S. To work on someone else's problem rather than your own.
Works for me!
Cheers
Mick
