noticed something cool
i was riding my bike around campus a while ago and i noticed that the street lights which i assume are operating at 60hz make my bike tires look like they are going backwards when i am going about 5mph. i always saw this kinda stuff w/ strobe lights but never noticed this effect with indoor/outdoor lighting before

You also see exactly the same thing with wagon wheels in Westerns.
