Just wanna introduce a UNIQUE flavor of music to y'all.....

..on the bayou with the scratch post, rythym, finger harp, and so much soul.......

If none of y'all have ever heard of this, here ya be....

wanting for a sample.....

ifn there be any reply's, i'd give some ideas....... for songs to make them feet of yours happy....

the beat is super fast..... the heart is young....

this music is so cool

y'all ought to check it out..... it's our American soul music...... love it, enjoy!!!!!!!!!

check out bou ray and the zydeco twister
check out Dr. John
so a search for the Mardi Grass mambo...... dance for hours.....

Hehe... living IN cajun country, I know who Dr. John, "bou ray and the zydeco twister" and "Boujoulai" are. I'd be pretty surprised if many others have heard of 'em here though...

More probably have heard of the "Mardi Gras Mambo"...

Good tunes, though I'm not a big zydeco freak ...

Traditional cajun music is pretty cool though... happy sounding music with some pretty warped lyrics... if you can translate the Cajun French in it...

LOL, Theo, I was wondering how "The King of Zydeco" got left out!

Garrison Keillor (A Prarie Home Companion on NPR) is a big fan of Beaujolais, and man, Sweet is right, that's just some happy music, really gets ya movin'!
