Black-on-White, or Vice Versa?

do you prefer to read text that is black on white background? or do you think it is more comfortable and easier to read white text on a black background? personally i like the white text on the black background better. it doesnt strain my eyes as bad bc black doesnt emit near as much light as white does and since black is the more present color, it just seems easier to read. what do you think?

Im so used to black text in white background so I voted for that option. My brain got used to it

Black on white. So much earier. On the other hand, I love my white on black Dell keyboard and find it much easier to read than my dad's black on white Dell Quietkey (older) keyboard.

I also like this keyboard a lot. It was extremely quiet when I first got it but after 2 weeks it was as noisy as my dad's. Actually, my dad's is almos quieter. The spacebar actually makes the most noise. It types well though.

either is fine.. but I think an all black screen is easier on the eyes than an all white screen..

Black on light beige is good.

Eggshell on cobalt blue is good.

I prefer not to have 100% white anywhere. Too bright.

I think it's black on white for me, just been that way all these years no sense in changing it
But then it really makes no difference I guess

I cannot stand looking at white text on any dark background and will deliberately leave sites that are presented that way.

hmm i like black background with a not white.. but a light blue text.. something a lil subtle.. its easy on my eyes.. oh and i had to choose the last one... Just because i like being the idiot!
