Last saturday climbing up a small tower to repair my zipline I found a construction defect in my fathers workmanship. I climbed up the back of the tower and grabbed the top rail and began to squat press myself up. When all of a sudden I was in a road runner cartoon (top rail came off under the load of me) I swear I floated in mid air for 3 or 4 seconds before falling

. Then I waved bye bye and landed 9 or 10 feet later on my fanny.
I thought all was well and was surprised at the lack of pain. Next morning though Yeooooowwwww. My lower back told me that I should not jump off towers on my butt any more.
A week later I was starting to be able to drive with out pain again and I stepped on a piece of bambu through the tough leathery protective skin. Dirt impacted wayyyy deep in so I had to pry it open and wash it out. Thank god I had a little lidocaine which I applied topically.
So now walking on my defective foot is throwing my back out again.
Note: to self when cleaning out a deep wound with a waterpick set on ultra low make sure wife has not put listerine in it
