questions on vulgar language?

I am totally aware that improper language is not allowed nor tolerated here at TechIMO. but i was recently edited. I won't mention a name as that is very rude. but I would appreciate it if, preferably a mod, could provide me with some kind of list. I know the biggies so those need no mentioning, but if the ones that one wouldn't think as a bad word could be brought to my attention it would be much appreciated. please PM me with them.

I don't think it would be possible to give a list as it would be too long.. you may get your hand smacked a few times.. if you do.. don't use that word again.
Just imagine if you had a kid sitting on your knee reading along with you (as some people DO do)
what would you want them to read?
I'm certianly not innocent of language, but I do try to consider what I write.

Depends on the mod and the mood of the mod at that particular time, so you won't get a straight answer. Just don't say anything you wouldn't say outloud in church or school and 99% of the time you'll be OK.

lol the bad thing is i'm not often in a church (maybe to see how it looks) and in school, you can swear around and no one cares, it's normal here in switzerland!

well Vass as I said, regular members who have an idea are welcome to give me their opinions on words. i know it's weird to start a thread with the intention to PM. Then again, I'm a weird person :P

You know you have a list of of words you wouldn't dare say around them or to them.

we understand people are frustrated and anger with things, but can we be mature and maybe use big people words.

After you asked this question I realized this could be a
nuisance if unchecked by the mods.
Activity like this happens sometimes. Don't get
skittish if a mod edits you occasionally. =)

im not mad or angry that GZ edited me. he's a mod and thats his job. I'm annoyed by the fact that he felt the word "pissed" is on the same level as a four letter word. it is a common term used to express a "level" of annoyance.

just to keep this clear this should not be public and this will be my last post in this thread.
