I Love The 70's
Anyone watching this? I guess it is a mini-series type thing on VH1. The shows each cover one year of the 70's. It's amazing some of the stuff I've forgotten about. If you're at least 30 years old you should be watching this. Very fun to watch.
For you kiddies, I mean younger people, I Love The 80's is coming up in a month or so.

Did they mention All In The Family? That show was so awesome. That's when comedy was at its peak, before people started to get all 'offended' by everything.
Ah I miss those days..... even though I wasn't actually there lol.

I still like the 70s era mystery shows (aka Columbo (more 80s tho, I think), Hart to Hart, etc.

Mo Rocca on 8-track tapes: Quote: |
Each track represented a block of songs, which is good because you shouldn't get to listen to a song you like until you first are forced to listen to 3 songs that you don't like.

My dad's 8-track had fast forward on it
It's strange that it didn't have rewind though. If you miss the part you wanted to hear you'd have to reload the track and start fast forwarding again.

You can't rewind an 8 track. They're a continuous tape which comes from the inside of the tape field to the outside. On and on they can go.
