Help me find this phone number!
Happy Monday campers!
Ok, here’s the deal…I’ll try to make this brief. I was at a comedy club last night and I was making frequent eye contact with this VERY attractive woman. Before she leaves she stops at my table and drops a folded up napkin and says “call me”. Of course it’s her phone number, but I can’t figure out what the number is!!! The paper reads:
918 89X ZZZZ (the Z's are the last 4, not important here and the X represents the number that is either a 2 or a 0, she crossed one out and wrote the other…I just can’t tell which one is supposed to be on top). So I’ve dialed every possible number in place of the X, starting with 0 and going all the way through 9. None of them connect, I get the “please check the number and dial again” message. So I’m figuring that the prefix (89X) must be off or something, but I’m not sure. 918 seems to be the Tulsa, OK, area code and the last 4 numbers are most likely correct…any ideas on how I can figure out what the cellular prefix is?
I'm not desperate for her number, but she looks like she would be a fun gal to hang out with.
Thanks!
Mike
Oh, I could attach a pic of the napkin, but I don't think it would make a difference...I can scan it if you think it might help though.

Re: Help me find this phone number!
How weird!
You say she wrote her number on a napkin, and crossed out a number and wrote another one in? What, she doesn't know her own phone number? Can't write correctly? Very odd... Quote: Originally posted by Martoch

j/k, you were right not to put it up. She gave the # to you, not us. |

Thanks Mike, I'm not sure that the link works with cell phone #'s though...very useful tool though, I will use it for other searches!
I just hate not knowing how things may have worked out, that's all. No loss, I'm headed to Hooters tonight...this time I'll verify the # beforehand. |

I've tried that, but I don't think Google included cell phone numbers...does it? Is there a wildcard in Google?

If I find it, why should I give it to you? I'll just call her myself and say 'I'm the guy from the comedy club.' LOL
