that and you'll pretty much never see that in a real download. Most people you download from won't give you that much bandwidth to download with (from the remote side)

congrats

No, but it makes for a great overnight collection of download windows, plastering the entire monitor!

I hate you! No, no I really don't...but you're not comin' to my birthday party! Unless you bring me some of that bandwidth...

I can't imagine the use of all that...I perfectly content with my cable modem...I mean really, what's the big deal if the download takes 10 seconds or 60 seconds to finish? Have fun with it.

I've got cable. It's not that fast, but the main advantage to it is that I'm connected 24/7. That means I can have one computer sit and download something, while using another. Altho it would be nice to have bandwidth so you don't have to wait...

LOL.. I think it is extremely fast.. Maybe thats because I just got away fom 56k a couple months ago! I have always thought of cable internet as being the thing everyone wants.

Well my cable is faster than 56k dial-up but it sucks compared to other cable providers. Too bad it's the only one in my area. ADSL is far more expensive here.

If you already have a telephone connection (which most people do, except me), ADSL is by far the cheapest route to take in my area. $35/month for Verizon DSL (with their phone service) vs. $47/month with Comcast cable TV service (w/o, $57/month).
