Regardless of where it gets outsourced to , my job is gone next spring.
My (current) companies job will be going soon too.
Looked at one way (Republican?) it is all the fault of the working man and his unions. Wages are too high, and have been for decades. (When did one of those polititions try getting through life on a working mans wages? Nearly 90% of federal elected officials are millionaires! And then we pay them six digit salaries to tell us that thirty five thousand a year is too high a wage?)
Or you have the other arguement (Democrat?) about how the economy of the world is the economy of the US. And how the jobs being created overseas are going to need what we have, blah blah blah. Listen up, those overseas jobs are all selling directly to the USA, not selling to themselves. Those that are selling to themselves on the side are also sparking of a golden age of new production. In other words the economy of the other guy is jumping. Not ours. The jobs are going to the other guy. Not us.
Pretty soon the USA will be the biggest third world nation on the planet. (J/k?)
Started off with cheap goods from Japan, then korea, now China.
As workers expectations grow the "Fat Cats" of industry move to another country! This has had been often said is the "Unacceptable face of capitalism" Millions of workers have lost their jobs. Well hey what go's around comes around, and the sooner the better. They wiil come back to us eventually, hopefully
